“The Flow of the Psalms” (Tony Carroscia // Fellowship Hall) June 9 thru September 1
We often think of the Psalms as a random collection of songs and prayers. In this class, we will see that the order of the Book of Psalms is intentional and important. As we look at an individual psalm each week (ten total), we will think about how each one fits within the flow of the book as a whole. We will also see how the psalms can help us to call out to the Lord in all of life’s circumstances, and how they ultimately point us to Christ.
2| Morning Worship |10:45am
Pastor Jeff will be preaching – Ephesian 5:15-21 “Walk as Wise pt. 2: Worshiping Spiritually and Submitting Mutually”
Today we finish last week’s message on Ephesians 5:15-21, called “Walk as Wise.” This week, wisdom strikes home in the church. Both musical worship and mutual submission are sometimes controversial topics in our highly individualistic and self-pleasing approach to church life. Yet here, the Bible speaks. What does Scripture teach about your church life?
