Sunday School – Sunday School opening at 9:30 a.m. in the sanctuary. Then we head down to our classrooms. We have classes for all ages.

Adult Education Class

“The Flow of the Psalms” (Tony Carroscia // Fellowship Hall)

 We often think of the Psalms as a random collection of songs and prayers. In this class, we will see that the order of the Book of Psalms is intentional and important. As we look at an individual psalm each week, we will think about how each one fits within the flow of the book as a whole. We will also see how the psalms can help us to call out to the Lord in all of life’s circumstances, and how they ultimately point us to Christ.

2| Morning Worship |10:45am

Pastor Jeff Zehnder will be preaching from Matthew  22:37-40; 28:16-20   “Welcome to the Gospel According to Matthew”  Who was Jesus? Today we open up the story of the most influential person in human history. The western world was completely transformed by Jesus of Nazareth. Spiritually, hundreds of millions of people, perhaps even billions, have given their lives to him. Who was Jesus? Today we start the book of Matthew.

3|Small Groups

Seeking community? A closer group for prayer? A new friend? This year small groups return, but with a new outlook. Worship is the most important event of the week. And sometimes on Sundays, there is so much to take in, we do not have time to “chew on it” or take it home. This fall we will try something new, with “Worship Engagement Questions.” We will be discussing anything from morning ministry – Sunday School reflections, worship, but mostly a time to reflect upon the sermon. There will be a sheet with questions pertaining to the sermon and the group may also discuss other concerns too. Still with prayer and fellowship. This fall it will be every other Sunday, Every first, third & (one time) a fifth Sunday of the month, starting September 1.
