1. Confessing the Faith (Ben Hardesty // Video Room) now – June 1st
Christian living is driven by Christian faith. In this class, we’ll seek to grow in our faith and our Christian walk by exploring topics like law and liberty, worship, government and family, and the church.
2. Heaven, Forever, for Real, for Sure (Stephen Hapach // Fellowship Hall) now – June 1st
Heaven is supposed to be wonderful. But it has an image problem: popular ideas about heaven seem just so unattractive and unreal most people settle for believing that life now is all there is. In this Good Book Guide, you’ll see that Heaven truly is forever, for real, and for sure. Our lifespan on Earth is tiny in comparison to eternity. What then can be more worthwhile than spending some time finding out about Heaven.
2| Morning Worship |10:45am
Pastor Jeff Zehnder will be preaching from Matthew 7:1-6 and 12 “The Disciple Among Sinners.”
“The Disciple Among Sinners” (Matthew 7:1-6 and 12). It is not uncommon for disciples to ‘turn Pharisee’ and begin glaring at others with critical eyes only. Yet Jesus has much to say: “Why do you see the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye?” (Matthew 7:3).
Does this mean we should never offer correction? Sin surrounds us. How should we respond to others in their sin? On this Sunday, which is also Mother’s Day, let us honor God and our women by learning how to be disciples who build up and not tear down.
