“Prayer” with Dr. R.C. Sproul (Various Teachers // Fellowship Hall) now – August 31

As Christians, we are given the privilege and responsibility of communicating with the Creator and Sustainer of the universe. Yet many Christians neglect prayer. The subject of its importance and, oftentimes, neglect, has recently come up in various ways at Fairview Church. During the summer sessions, we will watch and discuss Dr. R.C. Sproul’s teaching that intimate communication with God is at the heart of our relationship to Him. In addition, we will spend some of the sessions engaging in group prayer together. Please join us at 9:30 am on Sunday mornings!

2| Morning Worship |10:45am

Pastor Jeff will be preaching from Matthew 8: 28-34 “Jesus Pantocrator – Power over the Spiritual World”

In our day-to-day life, where grace pours out with every day of sunshine, or life sprouts from the earth, we can be amazed at God’s amazing grace. But as day gives way to day, we can forget the spiritual world and battle that exists. We can forget the power that Jesus possesses over that spiritual world. And how we need his power. Today, Pastor Jeff will preach Matthew 8:28-34 about Jesus’ second display of power: “Jesus Pantocrator: Power Over the Spiritual World.” What difference should Jesus’ spiritual power make?
