Pastor Jeff Zehnder will be preaching Matthew 9:9-13 “The Company the Savior Kept”

This morning we gather to keep the Sabbath holy. And on this Lord’s Day, we remember the gospel: Jesus Christ before he lived and died, came to call sinners to himself. Matthew 9:9-13, “The Company the Disciple-Maker Kept.” And the mission isn’t complete: Jesus is still calling sinners to himself.

Stay after Worship and enjoy a fellowship luncheon and a time of fellowship. And bring an appetite!

2pm Kids Campers & SSB Campers will be leaving for camp.

2:30pm Young Adults will be playing volleyball at the church weather permitting.

2|No Evening Worship

What can I do to finish out the Lord’s Day? Here are 4 suggestions: (a) Invite a church friend or family for dinner, especially one who you may not know well. (b) Make a connection with Non churched neighbors – say hello, or bring over a surprise baked treat. (c) Set apart 15-30 minutes for family devotion or family worship (ask questions about the sermon for example). Or (d) Retreat by yourself – Give yourself an extended time of individual devotion with the Lord, in the Word or in prayer for others.

Finish the day in rest with the Lord.
