Thanksgiving Dinner – Saturday, November 22 at 5pm. Everyone is invited to Fairview’s Annual Thanksgiving Dinner. Dinner will be served at 5pm ~ Turkey ~ mashed potatoes ~ gravy ~ stuffing ~ bread ~ beverages and table service provided. There is a sign-up sheet in the vestibule. Turkeys and turkey breasts can be picked up on Sunday, November 16. Everyone please bring a side dish or dessert.

 Thanksgiving Dinner Entertainment – Exciting news. The Bible teaches us to hide God’s word in our heart “that I might not sin against you” (Psalm 119:11). Church history also shows Christians who memorized entire books of God’s word (!). What if God’s word could be memorized at length? Even recited to you from memory in an engaging way? And what if … by a teenager? After Thanksgiving dinner, we are pleased to welcome Ace Laughlin, a local high school senior and regular summer CYIA. Ace will give us a dramatic recitation of Proverbs 1-9. A great subject for fathers and their children. There will be a love offering donation after, if you’d like to encourage Ace in this terrific skill.
