Promotion Sunday: Moving Up in Faith!

On Sunday, September 6, we’ll celebrate Promotion Sunday—when children and youth move up to their new Sunday School classes. It’s a special milestone that reminds us how each generation is growing in faith. Don’t miss this joyful day of celebration and blessing!

We will kick off our fall Sunday School and Adult Education classes by hearing from our children and youth what they have learned this past year. Please join us in the sanctuary at 9:30 am. There will be a time for fellowship (and doughnuts!) for children and adults afterward. All are invited!

Proverbs and Parables: Part II | Stephen Hapach (Kitchen) September13 thru October 25

Join us for a continuation of the class that Steve taught earlier in the summer, whether or not you attended then. The same Holy Spirit that prompted Solomon to tell riddles also inspired Jesus to tell stories. Proverbs speak to our minds, while parables speak to our hearts. As a group we will examine passages of both proverbs and parables, discussing and applying God’s unchanging wisdom to our lives.

The Art of Marriage | Mark & Naomi Oosting (Video Room) September 13 thru October 25

Every marriage has its strengths and its stresses. There’s not one that can’t be improved, fine-tuned, made stronger—or even overhauled—if needed. In this video series made in partnership with FamilyLife, discover a transformative marriage resource designed to help you explore new levels of intimacy, communication, and connection with your spouse. Whether you’re a newlywed or have been married for decades, this series can be your path to a stronger, more beautiful masterpiece of God’s handiwork.

Covenantal Baptism: Why Aren’t We Baptists, Anyway? – led by  Josiah Forton |Youth Room  continuing till Sept. 27th

Most debates surrounding baptism usually focus on considerations such as household baptisms or the comparison between baptism and circumcision. But is this the right place to start? While these considerations are important, it will be the assertion of this class that these issues are all downstream from a more fundamental one, namely, the Biblical definition of covenant. How has God chosen to covenant with us? The headwaters of the debate are not whether our baptisms are credo (believer) or paedo (infant); rather, it is whether they are individual or covenantal.
