Proverbs and Parables: Part II | Stephen Hapach (Kitchen) Now thru October 25
Join us for a continuation of the class that Steve taught earlier in the summer, whether or not you attended then. The same Holy Spirit that prompted Solomon to tell riddles also inspired Jesus to tell stories. Proverbs speak to our minds, while parables speak to our hearts. As a group we will examine passages of both proverbs and parables, discussing and applying God’s unchanging wisdom to our lives.
The Art of Marriage | Mark & Naomi Oosting (Video Room) Now thru October 25
Every marriage has its strengths and its stresses. There’s not one that can’t be improved, fine-tuned, made stronger—or even overhauled—if needed. In this video series made in partnership with FamilyLife, discover a transformative marriage resource designed to help you explore new levels of intimacy, communication, and connection with your spouse. Whether you’re a newlywed or have been married for decades, this series can be your path to a stronger, more beautiful masterpiece of God’s handiwork.
The Reformation in England & Scotland | Ethan Masters (Fellowship Hall) Now thru November 29
Last fall, we studied the Reformation in Central Europe, focusing on central reformers such as Martin Luther and John Calvin. Join us this fall as we continue a survey of the history of the Reformation in the British Isles. There will be much to learn about theological and political threats to the faith, the Covenanters that formed the Presbyterian denomination, and many bold men and women who gave their lives for the sake of the purity of Christ’s gospel and Church.
