“Exciting news. So, the Bible teaches us to hide God’s word in our heart so that “I might not sin against you” (Psalm 119:11). Church history also shows us examples of Christians who memorized entire books of God’s word (!). What if God’s word could be memorized at length? What if it could be recited to you from memory in an engaging way? And what if … by a teenager? Come enjoy the hearty fellowship of our annual Thanksgiving Dinner. Stay after. And welcome Ace Laughlin, a local high school senior. Ace will give us a dramatic recitation of Proverbs 1-9. A great subject for fathers and their children. There will be a love offering donation after, if you’d like to encourage Ace in this terrific skill.”
