Josiah Forton

Josiah Forton is our Student & Music Director. He is married to his wife, Emily, and father to five children. Josiah is a graduate of Geneva College where he studied Music and Business, enjoying the former and acknowledging the necessity of the latter. He studied in Nashville, TN at the Contemporary Music Center where he focused his attention on live production management, what may well be described as the most stressful thing he has ever done (aside from raising children). Josiah is also a graduate of Southern Baptist Theological Seminary where he focused his attention on worship ministry and discovering that he was actually a Presbyterian. He greatly enjoys teaching and one-on-one discipleship, especially if there’s coffee involved. When he’s not working with the church, he is usually spending time with his wife and kids, buried in a book, or taking dominion over his home (i.e. house projects).
