Reformation History with Ethan Masters | Youth Room
Reformation History seeks to explain what the Reformation was and why it mattered. We will begin by looking at life in Europe before the Reformation. Then we will explore early calls for reform, the Catholic Church’s response, and the conflicts that followed. We will also examine how religion affected daily life, culture, and society, and will end with looking at the long-term effects of the Reformation on the history of the world and how it is viewed today.
Communicant Class (6-12 Graders) with Pastor Jeff | Conference Room

Pastor Jeff Zehnder will be preaching from Matthew 12:22-37 “Jesus Faces His Opponents”
Jesus heals a demon-oppressed man. The Pharisees cannot explain his power, so they charge him with devil-work. What do we learn about Jesus? And how should we respond?

3|6pm Evening Worship
Revelation 17-18 – The ancient historian Tacitus once said of his own Roman empire: “It is where all the horrible and shameful things in the world come to congregation and find a home” (Annals, 15.44). Revelation’s view of Rome is about as negative as that of Tacticus. Yet we are so often enticed by a worldly world. The enticement of the world is as old as Lot with Sodom. But Revelation 18:4 pleads: “Come out of her!” We will examine Revelation’s dramatic view of Rome.
