“Prayer” with Dr. R.C. Sproul (Various Teachers // Fellowship Hall) now – August 31

As Christians, we are given the privilege and responsibility of communicating with the Creator and Sustainer of the universe. Yet many Christians neglect prayer. The subject of its importance and, oftentimes, neglect, has recently come up in various ways at Fairview Church. During the summer sessions, we will watch and discuss Dr. R.C. Sproul’s teaching that intimate communication with God is at the heart of our relationship to Him. In addition, we will spend some of the sessions engaging in group prayer together. Please join us at 9:30 am on Sunday mornings!

2| Morning Worship |10:45am

Pastor Jeff Zehnder will be preaching from Matthew 9:18-34 “Redemption is Found in Jesus”

Pastor Jeff will be preaching from Matthew 9:18-34 “Restoration is Found in Jesus.” Jesus is approached by a grieving ruler, a woman with a 12-year blood discharge, by two blind men, and a mute demoniac. Every problem is different, and yet all have two common themes: Jesus’ kind mercy, and the people’s personal faith. Sickness, injustice, loneliness, permanent disability, ostracism: We all face various degrees of the misery brought by the fall. But Jesus has come to redeem all things. How? “By faith in Jesus Christ and not by works of the law” (Galatians 2:16).
